Remember Hiroshima

One second is all it take to push a button
One second is all to change wifes into widows
for thousand of voices t cry out
and then to be silence forever

The date is  August 6th , 1945
and on that morning the sun rose not from the East
but fro the middle of the city of Hiroshima

Honorable judges, teachers and students
I am here today to talk about the lesson I've learned from Hiroshima. And What it means to me
This summer marks the 60th anniversary of the end of world war II
Today most American students still believe that the use of Nuclear Weapons was right. This may because
their history books mostly talks about " how" the bomb was released and not mush on what damage it did
One TV program showed an American Nuclear scientist and Hiroshima bomb victim talking .
The bomb victim asked for an apology but the American Scientist said," Remember Pearl Harbor. My heart ached when I saw  the sad  look at the victim face.
And I am not here to blame American. I really don't understand all the reason for and against the use of  Nuclear weapons. but one that I do understand .
Nuclear weapons kill anybody and everything .
It does not care if you are a soldier or civilian.
It does not care if you are a man or pregnant  mother
It does not care if you are terrorist or innocent child.
Stopping Nuclear weapon is up to us as children. World peace begins with understanding other cultures accepting them, not as foreigner  but as fellow beings.
I am a Japanese girl but I am one with the boy in Afghanistan . Crying because he's hungry. I am one with the old woman stand  in her basement as bomb explode outside.
I stand here alone but I am one with  million    of children around the world that one shouting .
We, the children of the world demand to be heard.
We the children of he world demand peace and the end  of Nuclear weapon
We the children of the world demand this right became it is our future at stake.

To conclude
We the children of the world can make different when people talk about hate  let us stand up talk about love
when people talk about war, let us stand and talk about peace
Hiroshima has taught me that in the face oh death we must always honor of life.
Thank you

IT IS NOT YOU

BUKAN KAMU, SUNGGUH INI AKU
AKU HANYALAH  SOSOK TANPA NAMA
TAK BERDAYA  TAK BERCiTRA
TIAP HARI HANYA ADA MENGAPA
JAWABAN JANGANKAN ADA
MENCARI  JUGA TAK BERSUA

SUNGGUH BUKAN KAMU
MEMANG BENAR ADALAH AKU
MENGEJAR MATAHARI
TAK HENTI BERHARAP
MENEMBUS  GUBUG  GUBUGKU
BIAR HANGAT BARANG SEJENAK
MELAMUNKAN BULAN
MELONGOK  SEDETIK WAKTU
DAMAIKAN TIANG HUDUPKU

BUKAN KAMU TENTU

AKU NYATAKAN SEKARANG
KAMU ADALAH ALASAN
MENEMUKAN  KEBEBASAN
YANG TAK AKAN KAUTEMUI
MESKI PADAMU SEJUTA PRASARAT ADA
SEJAJAR TAK BERSENTUH
DEKAT TAK RAPAT
BERSANDING  TAK BERBANDING

MEMANG BUKAN KAMU

I
now I run to chase the darkness of a sudden asymmetry,
lopsided, in feeble attempt to find
the comfort of a former home.
